ACADEMY AWARD NOMINEE Ed Norton

ACADEMY AWARD NOMINEE Paul Giamatti

SEVENTH HEAVEN ALUM Jessica Biel...wait, WHAAAA?

I must admit, that i'm rooting for jessica biel. she's hot without inciting a jealous rage among women everywhere, she seems pretty down to earth, and she got out of 7th Heaven before it was too late (note, my issues with 7th heaven are for another time, and another place). I'd like to see her have a hit movie (summer catch, blade: trinity and stealth do not "hits" make). and i'd really like to see her prove herself as an actress. hopefully just standing next to acting greats like ed norton and paul giamatti will have some effect on her skills.

i'm pretty excited to see it. my impression of the movie just from the artwork and trailer is that it has a cool, dark feel to it - and it's about magic. much like The Prestige starring Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale (yum and yummier) with Michael Caine and Scarlett Johansson.

let the parade of awesome "end of summer/beginning of fall" movies begin!

reviewing the reviewer

scott brown. how i love thee. everyday, i go to popwatch on Entertainment Weekly's site, scroll through to find the stuff you wrote (or engage in a game i call, "guess what scott brown wrote" and read first then see if i can recognize your style...i can). and today i realized that we are in fact, made for eachother.

because you don't watch american idol. and neither do i.

gone are the days of being chastized by my coworkers. of being out of the loop with friends and family. of having to sit through hours (or lets face it, even moments) of a show that i consider in one word: boring. because now i know that i'm not the only one not watching. i have you, scott brown, to be my rock.

thanks.
