TGIF

and we're not talking about full house.


reasons i'm glad it's friday and things i'm looking forward to this weekend:

1. i get to spend two days NOT in this hellish like atmosphere (referring of course, to our still broken a/c)
2. i'm getting a haircut tomorrow. YAY. it's been a while. it's funny how my definition of "long hair" went from somewhere around the middle of my back to more than a handful. short haircuts do that to you, i guess.
3. I'm going to see the da vinci code tomorrow - yes, the initial reviews are bad. but i really loved the book. i'm sort of on the fence still about whether or not i want to see it. i get very protective of things and when other people mess them up, i get mad (ie "rent" the movie).
4. quality time with my friend jess - i've seen her, and i talk to her everyday nearly, but we haven't really hung out in a while, so i'm looking forward to that
5. defensive driving course tomorrow - not really something i'm looking forward to, but it'll help in a few weeks when i apply for insurance for the car (tbd) that i'm going to buy. and i will have one by June 15th. that is a promise.
6. taking pictures for Lisa on sunday - my mom is giving me her car for a few hours, so there will be the whole independence thing. and also, i like to hang out with lisa, and take pictures, so surely doing both at the same time will be a splendid way to spend a few hours.

and the best reason i'm glad it's friday....
