crazy weekend

this weekend has been dubbed "crazy weekend" by allie for the following two reasons:


1. i dyed my hair - true. i did it. i always say i will, but never do, and this weekend i finally did. some blond streaks on the underside of my hair. you can see it when i part it certain ways. mostly it just peeks out. i'm working on a picture...

2. last night, after minutes of thinking, i got a tattoo. actually, that's not true. the thinking part, not the tattoo part. as you can clearly see here:

ok so maybe it isn't entirely clear. but if you really need to see what it is i got, follow these short directions.

check out the top of the page. flanking the chapter number and chapter title, are three little starbursts. that is what currently is on my wrist.

the above photo was taken with my camera phone. so i'm working on a better, more clear picture. the quarter is for size reference. and the remote in the background? well, that was just there.

i've been wanting a tattoo since i turned 18, and i'm glad i thought about getting one for a few years before actually committing. and i have to say, i want another one. it was more uncomfortable than painful, but then again all i really got was 9 short lines. i'm sure the bigger ones hurt more. maybe next time i'll get a dragon or something. ha.
