Me vs The World

so this morning i had an experience most do. i overslept. the cause of the oversleeping has yet to be determined, but i'm willing to say that it's a faulty alarm clock, and not my love of the snooze button that did me in. considering i don't remember hitting the snooze button, and the alarm was still set to go off when i woke up, but was not emitting any noise. weird. considering that i haven't yet been able to wake up to my new RAZR phone - i guess i'm in the market for a new alarm clock. i'll hit up CVS or maybe walgreens later to see the latest offerings. the clock i had been using was my sister's. but since she wakes up to her cell phone, she didn't need it. and i stole it. so last night i threw it out and pulled out the trusty alarm clock that served me well no only through high school, but college as well. oh yeah, and it was the second alarm clock i ever owned. i've had it since i was around 10 or so. our first alarm clock was white. weird. i'm interested in the advancements made in alarm clocks since the early 90's. hopefully they still operate similarly. or maybe i'll just go super high-tech and get this. can't be too bad..
